Experience

Taylor is currently on sabbatical from CLP. During his time away, Taylor is a visiting scholar at the University of California, Berkeley law school, where he is studying energy markets and regulation; traditional and renewable energy fuel source law and policy; and clean technology.

Before joining CLP, Taylor articled at a large Vancouver law firm. Most recently, he was a researcher for a Global Environment Facility funded water project titled, “Good Practices and Portfolio Learning in GEF Transboundary Freshwater and Marine Legal and Institutional Frameworks”.

Taylor holds a Juris Doctor degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of British Columbia. He also studied at Fordham University School of Law.

Taylor is called to the Bar of British Columbia. He is a member of the BC Clean Energy Association
